The 3 Keys to Quality Life

Very often, we find ourselves stuck in the same old patterns or cycles in our relationships, business projects, or our personal journeys.

This is a very common human experience, you’re not alone!

There was a point in my life when I was battling extreme emotional highs and lows, but SubhanAllah by the grace and mercy of Allah, I came out the other end as the founder of The Muslim Life Coach Institute.  

Which is a thriving community of entrepreneurs, who overcome their challenges and build the life and relationships they’ve always wanted.  

Overcoming inner resistance is so important to achieving total success and a fulfilling life.

The 3 things that I love to talk about are mental health, relationships, and business. 

These three things are key to living a quality life. 

When you have success in these 3 areas, you can overcome many of the obstacles and challenges that we go through.

However, for this to happen, we must first overcome our resistance to change. And really the reason why we resist change is because we want to avoid discomfort. 

Nobody wants to feel bad.

At the same time, we want to pursue our goals and achieve them but we find ourselves being held back by fear of change and what that will feel like. 

Firstly, what we need to recognise is that we can handle change, and change is inevitable.

It’s the resistance to change that drives us to self-sabotage behaviours such as procrastination, distraction, avoidance and whatever else. 

In order to break free from that resistance, we must first confront the discomfort that comes with the change. A great way to do this is to change your perspective and view the discomfort as a much-needed step toward growth.

For example, many couples that have gone through this journey in the Nafs Coaching School, have spent years avoiding each other.

They spend years keeping busy, shopping, working, going on holidays and doing things together, yet separately. 

They spend years raising their kids, and they do it separately. 

This is an example of resisting change.

This doesn’t apply to relationships only but it also applies to business. 

Because there is a direct connection and correlation between successful business and meaningful relationships. 

Both of these flourish in communication, understanding, and being adaptable. 

When we stop resisting discomfort and embrace it instead, then we see real transformation happening in various areas of our lives.
