Communication skills are about building connections with people. It’s about showing up in the world and connecting to them.

It’s simply a skill that needs to be developed. You connect with people one at a time, genuinely and you start forming the foundation of your coaching business.

The next thing is confidently telling people you’re a Coach. Ignoring that newbie feeling is essential to overcoming that fear of judgement and the lack of confidence. 

Then, it’s about making genuine offers to help people. That’s service. 

Service builds the foundation for long-term success.

When we’re coaching people, we’re in the business of helping and serving people. This is why psychology is such an important thing to understand because you’re in the business of people. 

Serving others means that you offer value and help and you show them how you can take them on a journey to transform their lives.

Now, this doesn’t mean that you forget about sales. Service doesn’t mean free.

The sales are equally important but when you prioritise service, you’re less likely to be pushy and creepy or cringy when you have the “money talk”.

People are then more likely to respond to you more positively. They will welcome your offers because they will want to work with you.
