Am I Confident or Arrogant? :

It’s critical to know the difference because NOT knowing can leave you with an internal struggle that can lead to a paralysing effect.

Working with a broad spectrum of students from both the Coach Certification programme, and the Nafs Coaching School, I find that they’re struggling and battling with this, and they don’t even realise it’s happening.

It’s crucial we break free from this mindset, as it shapes our results.

It’s this mindset that keeps you hiding from the blessings that Allah (swt) has given you, and keeps you playing small your whole life and not stepping into your life.

When you’re forever trying to avoid being arrogant, you inadvertently end up killing your own confidence.

Arrogance and confidence are not the same thing.

Arrogance without a doubt is a bad trait to have. However, there is a fine line between what is perceived as arrogance and confidence.

The Confidence which is based on certainty, knowledge, experience, and Revelation. This type of confidence is something that you should revel in, and you should love.

This type of confidence is free from arrogance. It empowers you to show up in life with your strengths and capabilities.

What often holds us back is our fears.

We fear the perception others have of us and this feeds into playing small and people-pleasing behaviours.

Instead of people-pleasing, we should please our Creator. That’s the first thing we should focus on and we shouldn’t leave ourselves out of the equation.

By focusing our energy, attention and time on pleasing Allah (swt) and ourselves, we’re able to overcome the limiting beliefs and step into our potential and create our results.

What we get from the Deen is the tools to be able to master life. We get the goodness of the Dunya and everything about it. That means we master our mental health, relationships, and wealth creation.

When your certainty comes from the Deen, it will help you become the best version of you. It truly is the miracle that enters your life.

This happens when you are confident with yourself and confident with your Creator.

In the Nafs Coaching School, you learn how to focus on building this fortified level of confidence and belief in Allah (swt) and yourself, it’s the key to success in your life, relationships and getting what you want in life.

When you do that, you grow exponentially.

Stop worrying about fear. Stop worrying about people-pleasing and begin to please your Creator and yourself.

If you are the best parent, the best sibling, the best co-worker, and the best boss, you will love and enjoy your life.

That is the best thing about it.

Humility is a core fundamental of this Deen. Therefore genuine confidence that comes from the certainty in Allah and our Deen,  brings about more of it.

By cultivating this kind of confidence, we can become the best versions of ourselves.

We can fulfil our purpose in life, whilst loving the experience!
